Rewind that VHS! A Collection of Indigo's Favorite Films

    Carrie (1976)

A great watch for my fellow art friends who love good visuals in a movie. Everything about this movie has made it an automatic favorite for me, I think I've alreasy watched this movie at least 3 times this summer LOL!

    The Last Unicorn (1982)

This movie has heavy sentimental value for me alongside the glorious soundtrack and visuals. One of the first movies I'd seen as a kid, one of my mom's favorites. The intro always makes me cry because I just love this movie--the story is heartwrenching yet told beautifully. The book is very true to the book; I actually prefer the movie over the book!!

    Tommy (1975)

This movie is a trip, but a good one at that. If you don't understand the story it can be difficult to follow, LOTS of symbolism (but what did we expect? It's an art film!) LOVE Tina Turner's role as the Acid Queen--hands down my favorite character. This movie is very fun to watch with friends; my close friends and I have watched this multiple times haha.

Favorite Movies Cont. (I have too many LOL)

    Phantom of the Paradise (1974)

Just watched this one a few days ago, and it has already become one of my top movies. Catchy and great music, and very interesting story and characters. Just like Carrie, De Palma uses imagery and character design excellently to create a captivating movie. This is the type of movie that I could watch multiple times; hell, I've been listening to the soundtrack non-stop!

    Labyrinth (1986)

Another childhood movie, one of my mom's favorites. I've seen this movie over 20 times probably. Having David Bowie to be the Goblin and also do the soundtrack was one of the best decisions for this movie. Also Brian Froud's character design (he was also on Dark Crystal) created such memorable characters. Great movie to snuggle up in a blanket on a winter evening and just enjoy.

Artwork: It Comes From my Brain (WOW!)

I love this movie (can you tell?)

Get out Your Walkman: Indigo's Mixtape

I Love music and want to share my favorites with you

I have lots of favorite artists, so I can't list any top ones

Currently, I've been lisenting to Phantom of the Paradise Sountrack + Firestarter Soundtrack
